53 Monmouth Street was the venue for the Sapelle Pop Up shop which predominantly featured bits and pieces from Kenyan designers like Kiko Romeo and John Kaveke with accessories from women coopreatives in South Africa. I had the chance to meet up with CEO of Kiko Romeo and discussed what the reality of Kenyan fashion was after the terrorist attacks on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi and we also discussed her future plans for Kenyan fashion.
